Coast 2 Coast provided updated as-built drawings of the Eisenhower Army Medical Center, a 93-bed medical treatment facility located just outside Augusta that previously served as the Army Southeast Regional Medical Command headquarters. The architectural team used the drawings for renovation planning, then passed the plans to the facilities department and maintenance contractors for ongoing use.
The comprehensive survey of the 686,000 sq. ft. facility included floor, ceiling, and above-ceiling areas. Coast 2 Coast’s on-site modeling team leveraged the 2D plans and the scan data to create a single integrated 3D model deliverable using Revit.
Within the model, MEP finish and above ceiling elements 3” or larger in diameter, all sprinkler lines, and all medical gas lines were also accurately incorporated. The team verified dimensional integrity and systems alignment using AutoCAD, Cyclone, and Navisworks.
