Certainly coordinating construction models with BIM is becoming more standard practice. Having the entire team looking at the same aggregated model from all the individual discipline models and empowering every user to validate their own design against the other models and to resolve clashes are two major inherent benefits of the process. Many construction firms are participating in projects requiring them to implement BIM technology. To assist in the BIM collaboration process, Coast 2 Coast provided high quality, data-enriched models for the University of Arkansas Pat Walker Health Center addition. Using AutoCAD drawings provided by the client, Coast 2 Coast produced base Revit models consisting of Architectural, MEP and Structural elements.
